Spring is in the Air

FINALLY! We have all been waiting impatiently for the warm weather. Weston has been keeping me extremely busy now that he is blossoming into a full grown toddler! He is now walking 100% of the time and he is into everything! (no surprise) He loves to climb in and up on everything. He isnt talking alot, so the way he lets me know he wants or needs something is with his famous squeal. (we are working on using words).  He continues to make the 3 of us laugh daily.

This weekend was quite busy. Gramma, Papap, Uncle D, Aunt Linda, Amy and Bryan drove up to visit for the weeknd. On Saturday, we took the train from New Haven into New York City. It was a very fun day with family. Ramine stayed behind with Weston as we could not see taking little man into the big city. The train dropped us at Grand Central, we scurried through Times Square and took Papap to see Ground Zero. I have been there several times and it never stops being an emotional experience.

It seemed as though everyone had a great time. We did alot of walking for sure!
Sunday Morning, the crew left to go back to the Burgh and Ramine, Weston and I went to an Easter Egg Hunt at Jen, Paul and Logans. Weston had a great time. It seemed as though he actually grasped the concept of putting the eggs in the basket.

Havin Fun in The Sun

Well, some sun! Weston and I are down here in Tampa visiting with Aunt Val. Its been alot of fun just to hang out and actually walk outside for awhile without feeling like your bones are freezing! Weston has been enjoying the nice breeze and sun on his face. He loves to go outside and play on the trampoline. He crawls on it and then looks at me like "Mom, that feels weird and bouncy"! Croppers Couture Tickled Pink Crop was so much fun. I am actually getting a lot of scrapbooking done down here. Jen's visit was nice, we did a whole lot of hanging out.

Saturday, we went to Uncle Bummer and Melissa's Super Bowl Party. We had a blast but pretty disappointed that the Steelers lost. :(.

We took Weston to see the ocean but didnt stay long because of the wind.

Tonight we plan on taking Wes to the Florida State Fair to see the livestock, eat, fireworks, etc. I am missing my boys at home but they seem to be doing quite well without me, wonder what the house looks like though? LOL

Snow Daze!

Well, we are covered in over 50 inches of snow and supposed to get more. I am scheduled to leave for Tampa next week but I can hardly wait!!! I put Weston in the snow for the first time today! He loved it! (only for 5 minutes since I was worried about him getting cold).

Weston and I are looking forward to going to Tampa to spend some QT with Aunt Val. Croppers Couture (Vals scrapbooking club) is having a crop on my behalf and I am bringing a friend for the weekend crop! Lots of fun stuff planned for next week, we just have to get thru the snow.

Happy Birthday to my Boys!

Hi Everyone! I know its been forever since I have blogged, so I figured I would catch up today. I am currently buried in 52 inches of snow so I have some extra time. So what has happened since my last blog? Well, Ian turned 16!! Weston turned 1! Christmas was fun yet hectic and New Years was low key.
 For Ians birthday, we threw a little party at Aunt Lindas and everyone came. Then Ramine, Val, Veronica, Bryan and I took Ian to a Steelers Game. He had a BLAST. Bryan and Ian decided to sit 10 rows back from the 50 yard line to see if they could get away with it. Well, they did. We were so close to the field! It was great.

Westons Pool Party was a success! He enjoyed himself and so did others. Ramine and Gam took him in the pool. He was one tuckered out One year old!

Weston was not very interested in the smash cake. Ian tried to get him to make a mess. :)

Happy Birthday to My Boys!

Birthday Cake

Per my previous post, I promised to share the pictures of the cake, cupcakes and banner that I made for Weston's little friends first birthday party.  Here they are. Thank you JT and Susie for letting us be a part of JT's special day.  We used the boys will be boys cricut cartridge for the cupcake toppers and the banner. We had a blast making it. There was one point we looked down and the babies had flour all over them! :) Good times!

Baby food is for babys!



As much as I love buying those cute little jars of wholesome good baby food it looks like I will be crossing it off of my grocery list. Weston is now refusing baby food. I guess he thinks he's a biggie biggie boy now. The past two weeks have been quite challenging in our house. We realized that we need to do a little more baby proofing than we thought. Boy do those little hands stay busy! He is now pulling up and standing on furniture. For the past week we have been struggling with what to feed him. We wanted to feed him the good stuff for as long as we could but I guess little man is getting his own personality. So he has tasted REAL food. It started with some peas and now he is right next to me wanting to taste everything i have on my plate. Ok ok, I confuss, I cut a piece of pumpkin roll and him and I ate it. At first I worried about giving him eggs, sugar etc. but I caved in and figured it was inevitable...HE LOVED IT! His little sweet tooth better not get too excited! So while we were on the "junk food" wagon, tonight my friend Susie and her son JT (westons little buddy who just turned 1) took the boys to Chuck E Cheese for the first time. We really wanted to attempt to let the boys burn off some energy and boy did they ever and Weston ate his first piece of pizza!!! He loved it too. He ate like a pig and had a blast!
